The helicopter and emergency vehicles will depart from campus between 6:30–7 p.m. Once again, this is for a scheduled event and not for emergency purposes. The deadline to purchase device insurance is quickly approaching this Friday, Oct. 16.
The Franklin Regional School District provides students with low-cost insurance coverage for their devices through its FamilyID payment portal. While insurance is optional, we strongly recommend it to cover accidental damage to the device. All insurance must be paid by Friday, October 16th, 2026, for the device to be covered for the 26–27 school year.

Last night's opening night of the Franklin Regional Middle School Thespians' production of The Enchanted Bookshop was fantastic! 🎭❤️ Congratulations to the talented cast and crew! Tonight is the LAST night to catch the show.
From the moment the bookstore came to life, audiences were treated to laughter, memorable characters, and plenty of bookish magic. Dorothy Gale, Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, Pollyanna, Heidi, Tom Sawyer, and so many other beloved characters brought this charming story to life on stage.
👏 A huge round of applause to every student who performed, worked behind the scenes, helped with sets, costumes, props, lights, sound, and all the countless details that made this production possible.

⭐Stars, Stripes & Scenic Sites!⭐
As part of our fourth-grade social studies overarching theme, “Stars, Stripes, and Scenic Sites,” students put their geography skills to work by building puzzle maps of the United States!
Using the 5 Cs—critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, and citizenship—students worked with state puzzle pieces, reference maps, and craft supplies to:
🗺️ Cut out and correctly assemble the United States
🌎 Label bordering countries and major bodies of water
🏞️ Identify national parks
🎨 Color their maps by geographic region
And this is just the beginning! Students will revisit this project in the spring, taking their maps to the next level by adding all 50 states and capitals, along with landforms, bodies of water, bordering countries, national parks, and other geographic details. #FRAcademics
