School Board Voting Meeting: November 22, 2021

The Franklin Regional Board of School Directors will hold a Voting meeting on Monday, November 22, 2021 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Murrysville Municipal Building located at 4100 Sardis Rd., Murrysville, PA.

K-12 Flexible Instructional Days 2021-22

During the 2021-2022 school year, Franklin Regional School District may utilize Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs), which can be used in place of a school day that would typically be canceled because of inclement weather or another emergency situation. Paw Prints Special Edition: FR-USS-STEELERS S.T.R.E.A.M. Extravaganza

This Special Edition of Paw Prints showcases Franklin Regional's partnership with U.S. Steel Corporation and the Pittsburgh Steelers to educate our students about the earth-friendly efforts of the American steel industry and their goal to achieve carbon neutrality by the year 2050. This 2-day event was organized by teachers Mrs. Sarah Danny, Mr. Arthur Danny, and Mr. Doug Bauer and was supported by all of the Middle School science teachers and attended by students in Grades 6-8. U.S. Steel officials, engineers, and former Steelers safety, Will Allen, added their expertise and energy to this sustainability extravaganza!

2021-22 Backpacks-to-Go Program

K-12 Students enrolled in the program, by parent request, will take home a backpack with food in a safe, easy, and discreet manner on the designated Fridays. The students will return the backpacks on Monday morning to be re-filled for the next designated Friday. By meeting basic needs of our children, we hope each child will be better able to focus on learning. EVERY child is eligible. There are no financial requirements. To enroll, a parent should contact their child’s FR counselor at 724-327-5456.

K-12 Parent Access to Schoology

Parents of K-12 students may login to their existing parent account or create a new parent account in Schoology. At the Senior High, confidential parent access codes may be obtained by emailing Mrs. Mary Jo Owens ( Elementary homeroom teachers and FRMS house teachers will directly email the confidential access codes to families. Once you have a parent account, you may browse your child's academic activity. You will also be able to associate your other children to your parent account using their unique access code.
