Franklin Regional is proud to announce the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Following nominations submitted by members of the Franklin Regional community, the Franklin Regional Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee conducted a thorough review process and selected this year’s distinguished group of inductees.
The 2026 class recognizes excellence across four award categories: team, coach, legacy, and athlete awards, and represents multiple sports.
“This year’s inductees truly represent the very best of Franklin Regional athletics,” Zach Kessler, FRSD Athletic Director, said. “Each individual and team being honored is incredibly deserving of this recognition. Their dedication, achievements, and sportsmanship have brought tremendous pride to our district and continue to inspire future generations of student-athletes.”
The inductees will be formally honored during a celebration on Friday, August 28, 2026, at a FRSD home football game. This event will bring together alumni, family members, and community supporters to recognize the lasting impact of these individuals and teams on Franklin Regional athletics.

Coach Induction
- Greg Botta–Football (2021 Retirement)
Legacy Induction
- Nick Orlic–Basketball (1955)
Franklin Regional extends its congratulations to the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 and looks forward to celebrating their achievements and contributions to the school’s athletic legacy.
